Let’s talk about Trippie Redd’s latest installment in his discography, shall we?
#NDA is the epitome of Trippie Redd’s ethereal sound. It’s a return to his roots, for sure. I remember listening to his debut album, Life’s a Trip, back in 2018. My friends & I loved it. This album feels like an evolved version of that project.
On this project, he references deceased loved ones, the legal battles he’s facing in regards to his daughter, & the state he is currently in at this level of the game he’s playing. That game being the music industry.
It seems as though he has new goals in mind as far as his life & music career go. He talks about becoming a trillionaire on multiple occasions. Songs like “Trillionare Club” & “Wanna Be A Trillionare” explore the concept of taking his circle to places they’ve never been before & exploring the world.
“KingOfTheWorld” is an epic culmination of his euphoric style & fuck-you attitude.
I notice that on this album, he is not only fearless but also standing up for himself. He quite literally explores that in a song called “Being Myself.” It’s a truly outstanding way to let people know that he isn’t afraid of himself & he’s always going to be himself regardless of what others might think.
I felt inspired to change my look, social media profiles, & start this website because of the message in that specific track. It’s a reminder to those of us who feel lost or alone that we have ourselves & that we can always look within to find hope when we’re down.
Now, Trippie dropped two versions of the same album this year: NDA & #NDA. One being full of features & sounding much more trap-inspired, while the other was more of a return to his prime, as I stated earlier.
The masses agree that #NDA was the better album because it felt more like his work rather than a response to the constant comments about him needing to drop an album already.
What can I say? People are impatient. VERY impatient.
Overall, I give the project a 10/10. I’m pretty nice when it comes to rating projects typically, but that score truly feels deserved. You can tell he took his time crafting this album. Three years, to be exact.

My final thoughts…
#NDA is an epic tale about a young man who is unapologetically himself, navigating the trials & errors life may throw at him.
I was VERY impressed by this project. I’d recommend it to anyone.
